Dear Friend,

I am pleased to announce my upcoming photography exhibit and a couple of related events in July 2008. The exhibit "Faces and Places from Turkey, II" will open on July 1, 2008 and will be on display for the month of July at the Mathewson Street United Methodist Church Gallery in Providence. This exhibit expands on "Faces and Places From Turkey" held at the Lifespan exhibit space last year. Although they share the same title, the current one includes many more photographs, all prepared and printed by me. The gallery hours are 9:00 am till 1:00 PM Sunday-Friday. The opening reception of the exhibit is on Sunday, July 6, 2008, a very special day for me, 2:00-4:00 PM at the church. Come, enjoy some refreshments, see friends, and see the photographs. (Please RSVP to janekin@cox.net for the reception by June 25, 2008.)

I will be giving a gallery talk on Providence Gallery Night, July 17, 2008. Stop by if you like to hear more about the photographs and ask questions about my work and approach to photography. Also worthy of note is the presentation that I will make at the Barrington Public Library on July 16, 2008 on Turkey. This presentation will be a Travelogue on Turkey more than an art show but you will get a chance to see many more photographs from different parts of Turkey with brief narrative.

I hope you will join me on one or more of these events and make time to see the exhibit during July.
