A. Cemal EkinI have been learning and practicing photography for almost fifty years, although I did a lot of dry-shooting in my early years of involvement. For several years I did freelance photography for annual reports, brochures, and the like around the 1970s in Turkey.

I have had two successful exhibits, issued a limited edition folio, and sold dozens of photographs that hang on the walls of art lovers. I have over a dozen magazine ads that feature my product photography. Most are full-page ads, some even a double spread. I have produced many self-published books of my photographs for gift giving and for sale.

I have selected some photographs to share on this site and I will be delighted if you would like to see them. All the photographs are available for sale. I am interested in photography as a form of art, a form of personal expression, and enjoy reading about photography as much as doing photography. This helps me understand myself and what photographic art means to me. I have developed a list of books that I recommend to anyone interested in discovering this aspect of photography. Take a look at the fine art photography list that I have prepared at Amazon.com, I periodically add new titles as I have time.

I collect old cameras in addition to the new ones that I use.The camera photographs that you see in these pages are from my collection of cameras and I have photographed them for this Web site. I included as much information about the cameras as space allows. I enjoy looking at them and playing with them I thought you may enjoy seeing them too. I am planning to add a gallery of camera and other photography paraphernalia in the future.
